They're starting to admit that Ethanol was a dumb idea...?

Ethanol from corn is a dumb idea. If we could ever develop an efficient way to produce ethanol from cellulose, we would have it made. Imagine taking all the leaves and gr clippings to the ethanol plant. You could cut down trackless acres of switchgr which grows on land not fit for anything else and converting it to ethanol. Cellulose is more difficult to break down than the starch in corn. If we could do it, then we could essentially turn plant waste into fuel. Now that would be a smart idea.
