Medicine dispensing pacifier? Worth it?

Both of my girls are refluxers (ages 1 and 3). Sounds like he is starting Prevacid...wonder drug! :) Here is the good news...it tastes GREAT. Strawberry flavored, not alchol/peppermint like Zantac. I would honestly skip the mixing with water. If you do choose to go that route, use a syringe. Put the tablet in and draw up a couple mLs of water. The little beads are the medicine...and they will stick to the inside of the syringe so you will have to draw up more water and keep giving it to him until it is gone. What I would recommend, and what has worked best for us is to just hold the solutab on the inside of the cheek with your finger until it dissolves. They dissove quickly, and they taste good, so there generally is not a fight. I have tried a lot of different methods, and this has worked the best for us. The hole in the med dispensing pacifier is not big enough for the beads of medicine to p through, so don't waste your money!
