Thermal cracking in concrete?

Anyone have any resources on thermal cracking in reinforced concrete. Specifically, if the rebar can cause restraint in a reinforced concrete beam that is heated up by say the sun, and then cools off. Will the cooling of the exterior concrete while the interior stays warmer cause cracking if the rebar is restraining the member. References will be very helpful. I do need some specific details if possible. I already have the general knowledge, I just would like some references to get some details, possible ways to calculate.
